This is one of the two main reasons I only use wired cameras. If you have to run a wire,it may as well be ethernet.

I have the cameras connected to the NVR and everything is working. The next step is to start running Ethernet cables and install the 4GB drive. Now I need to figure out what to do with the audio in and out connections.

If you are not getting power out of the TL-POE10R either it is defective or you're not getting power to it. I think you are confusing an Ethetnet cable splitter with a Power Over Ethernet splitter. They are not the same and are not used the same. Neither do they have the same name.

ZyXEL is good equipment. I had several of their modems and they never failed. For POE I like Texas Wi-Fi.

What POE "splitters" are you using that don't pass power through?

The easiest way is to set up a separate router using 192.168.3.x then set it to connect to 192.168.2.1. That keeps all your cameras and video recorder on 192 168.3.x and allows you to connect to the server which will capture the feeds from the cameras.

Cameras and NVR arrived today in excellent condition. Everything is unpacked and waiting for me. I worked on landscaping today and I am just to tired to play. I've already ordered another camera model from Andy.

That depends on if the camera has a speaker. The ones I have found have a speaker that's useless.

'Ang about. I had this set up in three minutes. I didn't test the power supply as I used POE. Once I saw it was on line, it took less than two minutes to see the video on my phone. I will say that the audio is useless. It's almost pure noise; not as bad as EDM, but just as useless.

If you are not going to use a NVR then I would consider putting the cameras and Blue Irus PC on it's own subnet.
