I managed to strech the output from frigate to fill the 16x9 screen from my DB1 and get rid of the black bars on the sides, but still not happy with the image format. Anyone want to buy a used EZVIZ DB1 :)

If hit the +, I can add the camera via local IP.. if I try to use the scan QR code then it tries to find the camera via wifi and doesn't find it. If I use the local ip, it doesn't work outside the local network, and I don't get alerts.

I don't mind removing the camera from EZVIZ, but I couldn't figure out how to add the camera to Hik-Connect.. Can you explain the process, I thought it was looking for "Wi-Fi" ssid so I renamed to that using the Batch-Config.. but couldn't add the camera

So I managed to flash my EZVIZ camera with the Laview firmware. And then renamed the wifi/password back to EZVIZ and added the camera in EZVIZ... I was not able to add the camera to the Laview app prior, and also tried adding camera to the Hik-Connect and couldn't get that to work either...

I think if its a hikvision like the older Uniden DB1 then it should be available in the config tool at least

so when I try to setup the recording area from the phone and save the settings, if I go back in its all mangled. If I do it from the computer via internet explorer will it apply the settings to the phone. will that do the same job?

Dumb question here... is the DRAW AREA a masking feature.. or Motion detect area? usually you block out the areas with the boxes, so is it the same on this doorbell or the opposite. Do I draw the area I want to detect or do I mask out the areas I don't? :facepalm:

Thanks for reply, I'm getting playback clips on the android phone, so I guess the card is install.. but IVMS-4200 I can not access any remote playback footage I keep getting error 317 no record found. I thought I could use this to view footage on the camera. what am I missing?
