I updated to 180809 a couple weeks ago when Ryan first posted the update (180809 RyanODan posted on Jan 3, pg 80) I also run Verizon and still have my unlimited data plan from years ago, so I never use wi-fi, only cellular... I don't have any freezes as you mention, but sometimes motion alerts...

I've read the first 32 pages of this and plan to scan through the rest... When I took my device apart to remove the LED's, I noticed a USB connection. I remember early on someone working with the code, I'm guessing they connected through this... Has anybody connected through USB lately ...

You could try placing the update file on the memory card and restarting the doorbell. I updated and currently run 180809 RyanODan posted on Jan 3, pg 80 on 1 LTS and 2 LaView doorbells...

180809 makes my doorbell "ding dong" until I answer or it times out... I don't recall 180726 doing this...

@alienatsf Have you tried 180809 RyanODan posted on Jan 3, pg 80 ?? I've had my LTS running since Sept and this was the first time it went off-line, this may support your cold weather theory...

This morning my doorbell went off-line from Hik-Connect. I can see it just fine on the webui and through my off-site nvr... My first attempt to get it back was to delete it from my Hik-Connect app and reconnect it... Every time I scan the QR Code, it reports device off-line. I suspect issues...

@Ehab Saad I have just installed the 180809, I have not yet noticed any differences. The only issue I was having with the previous firmware was button press notifications were hit or miss when my screen was locked...

@doctorwizz for my LTS version, it did not change the branding and it did not set the password back to default. However, as a rule, I always do a factory restore after firmware updates and of course that set the password back to default. Before I did the firmware update, I deleted the doorbell...
