I looked into blue iris, I wasn’t able to find pos support otherwise I would have done the pc nvr route. Still might. I’m installing my dahua system in my pizza shop next week, if the pos support in the dahua nvr is crap I’m just gonna scrap the nvr and look at other options.

Surveillance-video.com for hikvision, I’ve used them in the past in the analog days. After much deep thought I just bought a new dahua system from Andy, it was better value and I like the dahua cameras better.

Did you make your own cable? If so did you go by t568b standard? I know it seems like a weird place to start, I once encountered a problem when a friend made his own cable and couldn’t figure out why the poe camera worked on a 3ft cable but not 50ft.
