    I did find out how to ping a camera. Packets sent out show that some are lost. First one 4 sent only 3 received, second one showed 4 sent and only 2 received. Third showed 4 packets sent only 3 received.

    Blue Iris LAN IP is static. IP is 192.168.1.100 port 81. Camera IP addresses are static as well 3 cameras in total on IP addresses 192.168.101 through to 103. Sorry, not computer literate enough to “ping.”

    Port 8585 has been selected as the web server port in blue iris; also has been enabled in port forwarding on the router but still the canyouseeme.org tool says the port cannot be seen as the connection is timed out. Web server IP address looks correct as well.
