    Google has sent me here... I am also looking for the same answer, Synology / SD set up. I'll return if I find out.

    Streaming Image to Hikvision NVR

    Has anybody successfully created a stream using vlc that Hikvision can connect to? Would be nice having a spare video channel showing install info and company logo. Tried a few settings on vlc but nothing that an NVR will pick up.
