Amcrest Live View Browser Plugin Issue ...

Okay, sorry about the vagueness of my reply. This solved my issue: "I'd recommend you try with Amcrest Surveillance Pro software Amcrest Surveillance Pro for Mac" Also, it's late at night here in Australia so it's most likely the settings you've pointed out that is causing the black and...

Amcrest Live View Browser Plugin Issue ...

Thank you so much. Problem solved. Its working really well. However, the video feed is in black and white. I'll try to figure it out but if you know how to change it back to color that would be very helpful. Thank you very much. I hope others who are experiencing difficulties find this post.

Amcrest Live View Browser Plugin Issue ...

Hi, I have Amcrest IP2M-841W's ... I'm using Safari on a 2017 iMac 27" and this is what I see: I have followed the insructions and installed the Pulgin but 1. I can't see that its installed into the broswer, and 2. Installing it has made no difference at all. Amcrest Customer Service only...

    CISCO PVC2300

I found a CISCO PVC2300 POE two way audio IP Cam in my cupboard I had forgotten about and never used. I assume its far to old to use now? I mean in terms of firmware it would be vulnerable security wise?

    drivers for chinese camera modules

When I requested to cancel the Cam, I asked why they're selling these compromised Cameras (which they falsely claim are "Australian Stock"). This was their reply. Edit: He kindly replied to another message I sent, explaining customers want these cheaper Cams and purchase them more often than...

Actually you're correct, as it says in the listing "do not upgrade the firmware for stability" ... I'm sick of these types of sellers :-( ... purchase cancelled. Thanks.

According to the seller they are "Australian Stock" (I'm from Australia). I also found this: Important! About dahua hacked Chinese cams and NVR issues Thanks for the warning.

Oh, ok. So, would you possibly know if the DAHUA 6MP POE IPC-HDW4631C-A 3.6mm BUILT-IN MIC HOME SECURITY DOME IP CAMERA falls into that category? (I don't expect you too, just hoping).

Now I have a Dahua 6MP IP Cam POE on order as well, its a bit different than the one above but it was much cheaper and seemed to have good ratings. Amazon has accepted the return of the Cam in the picture above. It just doesn't work.

ACtually, I want to use an IP Cam indoors. So in reality these dome giants probably aren't needed. So I took your advice and did some research and this Amcrest POE IP Cam with two way audio that's on the QNAP NAS compatibility list seems like the best option...

I actually have a TP-Link POE Switch (5 ports, 4 POE,, 1 Standard), and I'll check that Amcrest Cam out on Amazon, thanks. The "Cheap Chinese" IP Cam I purchased isn't Wireless , it's Wired .. (Don't mind my messy setup there lol)

    drivers for chinese camera modules

Well, I'm just starting out and i can say the $60 cheap Chinese AnpViz that i purchased from Amazon didn't come with a password, and the software designed for it can't find it, nor can I see it in my ASUS router, so i'm completely stuck. Whats a decent camera, it doesn't need to be feature rich...

    AnpViz Model: HC-IPC3445-HS Questions ...

Hi, I purchased this cheap POE IP Camera just to tinker with. I've not used IP cameras before and I have a QNAP NAS with QVR Pro installed on it. I knew I had to purchase a ONVIF compatible IP Camera and that's about all I know. I plugged in the the Ethernet cable to my POE switch and...
