I remember having this issue. Have you tried installing the HIK-Connect app? If I remember right, there is an option in that app that specifically lets you turn the indoor mechanical chime on and off.

That looks like a completely different app. What does the icon look like? It should be a red square. This is the one I am using: ‎Hik-Connect

That is extremely odd!! Exact same app? I added the device with the QR code. It's very strange that we would get a different list of settings in the same app. Can you post a screenshot of your settings?

Try installing "Hik-Connect" which has an option to enable/disable the indoor chime. That's what worked for me when my chime stopped working. I wasted so much time changing and replacing my transformer when it was a simple fix all along. Install Hik-Connect, enable the chime, test, uninstall...
