    Well, wasn't using IVS but am doing it as we speak. My cams are in well defined locations relative to windows and doors, so the tripwire vs intrusion IVS alerts will give me plenty to play with. Just wanted to make sure I am going in the right direction as we speak...

    So - still struggling... threshold at 20, sensitivity at 65, dither at 10 and still averaging about 5 false alarms due to bug movement per cam... Is perfection possible or do we at some point settle - have to keep playing with the settings more with human motion I know... Any thoughts?

    So does anybody know anybody that would repair these are are they just disposable devices? Florida gets crap tons of lightning daily over the summer. This ain't gonna end well with the wife if I am replacing these this frequently... sigh.

    12vdc test (rated 1.5amps) also has no ir lighting, no response. dead as a door nail.

    Connection is sealed. Used the powder coated boxes and installed up under the overhang using all the rubber grommets and such. It comes down easy when the bottom portion of the powder coated box unscrews and drops right off. Checked gasket included with the box and all looks as expected...

    Powered on one HFW5231EP-Z12E and one HFW521EP-Z5E from Andy. Added plug in. Can log into both cameras. Z12E pic looks great. Z5E has no pic in browser at all. Obviously diff firmware. Any ideas what I need to do to wake the Z5E up? Powered on a second Z5E and same result. Apologies in...
