I installed the latest windows 10 updates. After about 24 hours or so, I try to wake up the computer by pressing a key or moving the mouse around and the computer/display wont wake up. I cant access the cams with the iphone app either when this happens. I need to turn off the machine and back on...

Here is my wishful thinking but is there a 2.5" HDD for surveillance out there? I did a google search and didnt come up with anything.

I would believe the 1831e is for the same price point if you dont need sound or varifocal. I'm crossing my fingers for a 4k 1/8 turrent to come out this year.

Where im at here in california, power is very expensive and for something that needs to be running 24/7. Lucky for you, power is lower cost. Rock on! I would be getting this business class switch for free, but i bet after a couple months of seeing my pge bill increase, it wouldnt for me be worth it.

Oh yeah! the alarm scared the heck out of me when I first plugged it in. I'm sure it'll do the same to the midnight front door people. haha!

Someone had to speak loudly close by the cam for me to hear something. Same Goes for me speaking into my computer/phone to only hear a soft voice over the camera.

Some reason the audio is so quiet. I have the noise cancellation turned off and the mic and speaker at 100.
