Bizarre connection issue with Xfinity
I've never had a problem with xfinity, though it's very odd that they're blocking your internet traffic. I'd recommend buying your own xfinity compatible modem -- I have an Arris T25 Modem. And then you can use any wifi router that you wish, and port forward that way.- Culhane
