    Web interface plays wrong clip?

Sounds like a problem I posted about a month ago. I would play a clip back from lets say, 1am and I'd see video from 9am in the morning. If I logged out (this is via remote) and logged back in, it would be fine. Fenderman recommended rebuilding and then deleting the database, but it never...

    Combine/Cut Time Problem

I have two Hikvision cameras outside that are set to continuous record, with a new cut every 23hr and 59min. No problem. I recently added two more Hik's for the outside. Set them up the same way, well, at least it looks that way. But for some reason these two new cameras are starting a new...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

I had the exact same problem. All I did was extract the files again and made sure I copied over everything when prompted. Doug

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Thanks. I'll give it a shot today. As far as my locale, I'm in Ohio, so nothing really odd there. Doug

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Question: On the left hand column, where the Alerts are...the 5th line is cut off. I'm assuming that's the time. Any way to make those fonts smaller so I can see all of the text...or maybe change the date format? Thanks Doug

Weird Event With Clips via Remote View

Here's what happened next. I sign on and watching from work. An alert happens at 11:12pm. I view it and its the right clip. 11:33pm..new alert. This time its showing me a day clip again. I logoff and log back in. The 11:33pm clip is back. Doug

Weird Event With Clips via Remote View

I have two Hikvision cameras outside that I watch via Blue Iris on the web from home. One camera is doing something strange. I have my monitoring setup on Refresh/Auto for Alerts. Cam1 captures an alert. When I click on it to see it, I see some random image from the day time. This day time...

    TP-Link Router and No Signal

Starting to ring a bell. Been so long. I went into the camera's configuration and changed the lan and wlan to 192.168.0.83 and saved. I still must be missing a step cause when I try again without a direct connection to the router, its not finding it. I just have to find those instructions...

    TP-Link Router and No Signal

If I understand, when I changed my camera address from 192.168.1.83 to 192.168.0.83 in SADP and then in BI, I also have to specify that address somewhere in the router settings? Doug

    TP-Link Router and No Signal

Before my Netgear router bit the dust, everything was fine. I replaced the Netgear with a TP-Link AC1750 router. Right now I can connect via wireless with my Xbox One and iPhone. But my I'm getting No Signal for my Hikvision wireless cameras. One of the things I noticed was the gateway...

What is Force Quitting pxServer Thread?

I'm getting these alerts every now and then. Is this a horrible thing? I did some searching and I found a thread where it was mentioned. I tried unchecking the Use RTSP/Stream Timecode, which seemed to have fixed it. Depending on what all of this means...is it better to not get the Force...

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

No clue. I have another Hikvision dome inside and it was fine. My cpu has been pretty stable at about 70% with 6 total cameras. Doug

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

FIXED!! I wrote Ken. He wanted to remote in and look at it, but also wanted me to try to increase the Receive Buffer. First I went from the default 3.0 to 10. The problem became less frequent. I jumped to 30. Gone! Bigs thanks to everybody who helped me on here! Doug

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

Back from my cry :) It gets stranger...I did a manual record to try and capture this, whatever it is. Ready for this? It doesn't show up! Is that strange or what? I also installed Hikvision's ivms-4200 pcnvr. No problems showing up on that. So far: Blue Iris - bars of death Hikvision (web...

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

I have no idea what's going on. This new event just started after I upgraded and its only showing in BI, not in Hikvision's Live View. I did try reducing my iFrame to 15 to match my Frame Rate. No change. I'm starting to think to just switch to a Hikvision NVR and take BI out of the loop...

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

Ok. Lets try it again... Also, now the Hikvision camera that I originally had the problem with? Now its freezing up on me. I see the yellow icon and according to the Help section its some type of conflict? My cpu % is around 54%. Doug

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

Ok. Good news and bad news. Good news...the time problem seems to be fixed. Sorry about that. I thought I had the latest update. Bad news...a new problem popped up. Every other minute or so I'm getting this while monitoring... It lasts not more than two seconds. It's happening to both my...

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

What version should it be? I went to the web site and it lists 4.1.0.1 as the latest. I've also tried restarting BI and not getting an update.

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

Changed everything. Same problem. After resetting the camera so BI time was the same as Hikvision's time, after 3 minutes, BI was 5 minutes behind. Grrrr. At least the year isn't going backwards :) Doug

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

I see it spike every once in awhile over 90%, but it mostly stays under 50%. For the camera I'm having problems with, that's the only one in BI that won't allow me to pick a constant frame rate. The adjust automatically box is checked and greyed out. So even if I have my fps set to 20 via Hik's...

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

I caught the 'interference'. Does it look familiar? This is what's causing the time to get screwed up. Almost every time it reaches near the end of the minute, I get that line and the time backs up another minute or two. The next time, it might make it. The line is just above the white OSD in...

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

Well, I have both times being displayed again (HIK and BI). As I'm watching the camera, there's a little 'hiccup' in the picture. When that happens, the BI time goes back to the previous minute. Doug

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

I have the tool installed and running. Do I have to do anything else to get it to act like a network time server or is that what its doing now? If so, then try the BI time display again? Doug

How Does BI Come Up with its Times?

I have 4.1.0. It got so bad..when I look at my available clips, instead of showing like 15 seconds, it'll show 42 days...cool! I'll shut BI down and bring it back up and everything is fine, for a few hours at least. I'll try that time sync tool also. I'll try the screen shots again. Doug
