    hmm, the set i bought came with different rubber seals for various cable sizes but its been removed from amazon the closest i could find was a french version of it but maybe you can find something similar in the US, i'm from the UK btw...

    2mp during the day is ok, i struggle to get clear ID however from beyond 15-20m(people walking on the opposite side of the road) on cams zoomed almost all the way out for wider angles where i'm trying to cover a both sides of the road (i occasionally get kids throwing stone and eggs 1 or 2 a year).

    I just got this dahua nvr from aliexpress and smelt a burnt smell on power up, is this an insta return or is it more of a superficial thing and i should ask for a partial refund? the top of the motherboard is fine but underneath... normally i would return straight away but getting this system...

    thanks aristobrat... again lol. i was just checking the shutter speed and 1/3s capturing a moving car i saw on youtube looked like a still image moving along the road. but yeah, i think i'm pretty much dead set on one of these turrets. The ipvm calculator sounds awesome and i'll look into it...

    thanks for the info, it seems like all these cameras should a decent compromise on price performance, my shop sits on a cross roads with speed bumps so cars have to slow down anyway.
