    This is very pertinent information that should be given when you initially activate Sentry. I searched for a while to find this info. Your "checklist" is extremely basic and I was wondering if should reconfigure my zones and crossing entries to allow Sentry to work more efficiently. Thanks

    Selecting a NVR maybe Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-E2/8P?

    I am new to this and just purchased the DS-7608NI-E2/8P and to 2132 cameras on Amazon from Netview for $388, it has V3.3.1 build 150422 firmware. It has a toggle to enable virtual host. I cannot get the NVR to recognize the SD cards in the cameras. I can however see both streams in IE and...

    Dual Recording to SD and to HDD

    New to thistechnology DS-7608NI-E2/8P 2 - DS-2CD2132F-IS Is it possibleto record simultaneously to the SD card and the HDD? I want to have thedata on the SD if a person (robber) took (stole) the HDD, I would have him onthe cams SD card.
