I can confirm the Australian sold Swann NHD-850 are in fact a Hikvision DS-2CD2055FWD-I. 2.9" sensor, 4mm lens, which matches 63degree viewing angle listed on the box. Detects in SADP, Identical WebUI minus the Hikvision Logo in the top-left corner. Works perfect on Hik NVR!

As a simple local-only solution for the camera, just assign it a static IP without a default gateway.

The hikvision 3MP are much much better cameras - and also do POE, as well as a solid case - but are triple the price. This camera was super cheap & I'm still very impressed for the $30 AUD i spent on it.

I too bricked my DS-7616N-E2/8P when attempting to go from 3.0.10 to 3.4.4 Fortunately reflashing the old firmware via the TFTP process bought it back from the dead.
