Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

You don't select RTSP in Reolink. You select RTSP under the camera video source configuration in Blue Iris for the Reolink camera.

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Done! I'm happy to find that after several days of disabling RTMP and only using RTSP, all cameras have remained online. I also found a miss configuration where certain cameras were not using hardware acceleration! After fixing the hardware acceleration setting, and using only RTSP, all memory...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

I would rather have some tearing than have no video footage at all. I have no idea why RTMP is so unstable, but I also have no means to test or debug it.

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Just wanted to provide an update. I've upgraded this installation to Blue Iris 5, which still seems to have the memory leak issue, but seems to have stopped cameras from randomly dropping. I played around with an issue where certain reolink cameras would not come back after restarting Blue Iris...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

I tried following the drivers marked on the wiki for haswell cpus. I was unable to install either recommended drivers as this is a Windows 7 installation, and Intel only supports 10 for gen 4 cpus on that driver version. Currently version 10.18.14.4264 is installed by Windows and is signed by...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Tonight in an interesting turn of events. I found several cameras still with "No signal" from this morning. I noted that right clicking the cams, and selecting "Restart camera" did nothing, it did not even show the multi colored placeholder image. Disabling and Enabling had the same effect, or...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

@fenderman Aside from Windows Defender, there is no real time virus scanning on this machine. I'm not sure if windows defender has any issues with Blue Iris.

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Checked again today, 12 cameras down "No signal". 4 Reolink turret cams. 4 Reolink bullet cams. 1 Reolink dome. 1 Hikvision pinhole cam. 1 Hikvision bullet cam. 1 Hikvision turret cam. Given that Hik cams are going down as well, I can't blame this on Reolink. I closed the app again, stopped...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Today I checked via screen connect and it looks like 4 cameras have dropped offline. All cameras which went offline were Reolink, 3 turret cams and 1 bullet. Under logs I only see: Which is really strange, because I can ping the camera without issue. This is the same for the other three as...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

I think you miss understand me. My apologies. Blue Iris runs on the NVR. NVR is just a term for a network video recorder, in this case, this servers dedicated purpose is for recording network video streams, so I refer to it as an NVR.

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

I've done as you asked. I do not see any additional cameras.

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

T568B was used for all terminations. I currently have all reolink cameras set to use direct to disk without problems (at least none that I'm aware of). What are the symptoms of this incompatibility? Reolink was a request due to budget constraints. Though if this proves to be a large ongoing...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Blue Iris does not give any error codes, just "No signal". Resource usage was just a broad term overall. At the moment, CPU is at 44%, RAM is at 10.8GB free out of 24GB, Disk Que length is .01 as most cameras are motion based recording. The NVR was custom built by a security company I inherited...

Cameras Go Offline Randomly, Changing On Each Restart

Hello All, I seem to be having an issue with a Blue Iris installation. Occasionally, about 5 or so cameras will go into No Signal state. Typically closing Blue Iris, stopping the service, starting the service, and re opening Blue Iris fixes this issue. To me this seems fairly peculiar. I have...
