Hikvision's new 4MP 2-series
LUX Specifications are meaningless but the F1.2 specification is much more meaningful. True WDR can be very useful and much better than eWDR but has no correlation to low light performance as does F numbers. -

On average higher pixel cameras tend to be worse in low light scenarios. If your primary concern is low light then look at factors to make that better such as iris control, F-stop numbers , larger image sensor, IR illumination. DNR/GAIN quality
