YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

A few things I've found out about the doorbell after poking at it some more. Keep in mind, I don't use the mobile apps, don't let it access the internet, and make the most of it using opensource tools. Plugging it into a network switch that supports POE (802.3af, 802.3at) will not power the...

Hard crash launching 64 bit version on Win10 KVM VM.

Do you mind sharing model numbers of the Dahua cams you got? I'm looking to get something beefier than the 2MP doorbell cam I have at the moment. Of course being linux friendly, not phoning home, and quality implementations of all claimed supported protocols are super important. FWIW, I...

Also sometimes takes 30 secs or more for first frame to appear which I think has to do with the I-frame interval in...

Hard crash launching 64 bit version on Win10 KVM VM.

I want to give this a try but I'm not having any luck getting Windows 10 installed on a guest setup with kvm64. Boot CD just freezes at windows logo screen and pegs the guest CPUat 100% indefinitely. Changing CPU back to non-kvm64 boots up fine though. $ qemu-x86_64 --version qemu-x86_64...
