Do any of you know if there's a way to turn off encryption on the doorbell's RTSP stream? I'm looking in the Hikvision BatchConfig tool, and I don't see a way to open up the RTSP stream.

For those of you who who put the LaView firmware on the RCA doorbell (to gain ONVIF capability): does the RCA mobile app still work? *I want ONVIF, but my wife wants the simple doorbell app :)

FYI: I just installed the Hikvision BatchConfigTool, and it allowed me to select "Full Frame" for the framerate, which results in 30fps (verified in VLC) video on my RCA doorbell.

Based on my (limited) experience with the RCA version, it is not ONVIF. BUT, if your NVR can record a password-protected RTSP stream, then you should still be good-to-go for recording.
