UI3 on iPhone - Green Screen/Glitching During playback of ONLY 1 camera?

I've been fighting issues with Onvif related problems, which has resulted in me rolling back to 5.8.7.8, until today, when I just figured I'd try 5.8.8.8.... I wonder if this issue/UI3 changes have been made recently, as with 5.8.8.8 it seems like it might be ok...

GetEvents error / "Events: subscription 8000ffff"

On the basis rolling back is pretty simple/quick/easy, I took a punt on the latest version 5.8.8.8 (15/03/2024). Seems to be OK/fixed again? Meaningful/detailed changelogs would be ideal, but I know we've been wanting for years.

UI3 on iPhone - Green Screen/Glitching During playback of ONLY 1 camera?

I should have been clearer, this is on the playback of RECORDINGS only, not live.... So I guess I need to be looking at recording encoding etc.. Which is set to BVR & Direct To Disk...

265 + HA. Just like the rest :( It is however, a ReoLink whereas the rest are Hikvision.

UI3 on iPhone - Green Screen/Glitching During playback of ONLY 1 camera?

I'm experiencing Green Screen/Glitching During playback of ONLY 1 camera via the iPhone app and UI3 console in Safari. Am I alone? https://youtube.com/shorts/BwmMphSYRJM?feature=share

Guess we wait for Ken to acknowledge some kind of bug then... until then.... 5.8.7.8..........

What is "the ONVIF viewer" you refer to? Is there a link? Edit: I found a copy of ONVIF Device Test Tool v21.12, whilst im not sure what I was looking for. It was able to communicate happily with the camera and pull back camera details and control configuration etc, simply by inputting the IP...

GetEvents error / "Events: subscription 8000ffff"

Is that still true for me, who’s in the UK and clocks haven’t yet changed? My camera is set to sync with a local NTP, and no DST config set… There’s no internet access in my setup, so nothing really should be aware of a DST change anywhere… (unless the firmware is really buggy, but I’m running...

Rolling back might have helped.... no errors in the logs, and I just realised I'd had Auto Tracking disabled in the camera itself as a hang over from testing. Will need to wait til tomorrow now to verify.

Rolling back hasn’t seem to have helped… :( Will have to wait for Support to get back to me.

I mean, it’s an observation. But our clocks didn’t change in the UK though…

Auto Refresh did nothing, so I checked my logs. Found the date the problem started, which was around 3rd March. Have gone back to 5.8.7.5, a version from Mid Feb, to see if that helps.

This is obviously Camera brand specific, as there's nothing for auth with ReoLink. Will flag to Ken/BI Support. Meanwhile, I have Disabled "Auto Refresh" within Onvif commands within the BI GUI, just in case. Hoping itll get the commands one time, and not keep hammering it as such to cause...

    replacement Hikvision pigtail

Just dropping by to show my gratitude and post a more recent update on this. I had no end of problems "decoding" the wiring on my DS-2CD2383G0 which stopped functioning after relocation. I assume during the removal and installation the pigtail became damaged. One thing all the various threads...

IR Control via BI instead of Hikvision Camera

Magic, I knew I’d seen something like this. Will give it ago later, thanks!

IR Control via BI instead of Hikvision Camera

Seems to be fine. However, doing it this way, seems to ignore/nuke the BLC settings on the cameras. Any ideas how I might be able to retain BLC config from the camera, and/or pass those variables via Blue Iris? On a couple of my cameras I have the BLC offset to oneside to increase brightness in...

All seem to have transitioned correctly to IR ON via Blue Iris (regardless of Camera config), so lets see what the morning brings.

IR Control via BI instead of Hikvision Camera

Have changed one Cam to 'day' and the others to Auto. I'm wondering if the camera 'knows' its been triggered by an external source and just ignores its inbuilt config... we'll see I guess

IR Control via BI instead of Hikvision Camera

If I set it to Day/Night, do I not run the risk, of the "Camera" thinking it is still Day, even after BI has turned LEDs off (and the camera then turns the LEDs on again?)

IR Control via BI instead of Hikvision Camera

I'm looking to switch to having BI control my IR cut over, as I can relate the switching ON/OFF of LEDs with Sunrise/Sunset. If/when I do this, how do I then prevent my Hikvision cameras from 'fighting' with BI and contradicting my settings? Blue Iris Config Hikvison Camera Config

What's your Blue Iris Setup like? (List Specifications)

I live in the UK............. where we use real money (Celcius). And have stupid ass weather -- welcome to our summer time! And correct. CPU temp, I'm not worried about at all. Though in our hottest days (30 degrees C outside) the room can reach 50, which means CPU gets to 60-70, which is not...

What's your Blue Iris Setup like? (List Specifications)

With the ability to use sub streams, I'm actually looking to massively downsize my system, if for nothing more than a kWh saving. Though there's that age old problem or spending to save. A new setup, would most likely never pay for itself with the savings -- but as a techie, new toys are nice :)...

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

Just watch for changes in motion detection IF you use motion. The pixel mapping from main to sub stream changes, so in most cases you’ll need to reconfigure motion parameters. Zones, object size, object moves X pixels etc

    Unattended hidden BI server

Similar setup, except I use RDP. Depending on how ‘hidden’ this room is... Having the computer set at BIOS level to ‘auto power on’ after power failure and having ILO/a smart plug, can save so much hassle. Along with Wake on LAN
