How accurate are the ONVIF trigger events, is it accurate at detecting human movement? I am using it indoors with BI motion sensing and I'd rather it not get triggered by the curtains getting moved by wind :)

That's unfortunate, but I think it is a user issue (i.e. you are missing a step), just like it was for me the first time where I couldn't get it to work. If you want to post your step by step workflow I am willing to help!

Called back lorex after they sent me the wrong fw link, and was told there is no newer firmware than the 2018 one for the LNB8105 or LNB8211 (same camera). Would much prefer to have the Dahua fw on it. @val-ipcam any chance you can chime in here considering you were able to flash the Dahua fw...

Since these doorbells are all Dahua rebranded, do they still try to TFTP at boot time in order to grab firmware, like the POE cameras, or do they have a different behaviour? I'm tempted to try and load up Dahua firmware on it via SmarPSS, but I don't want to hose it... :)

I would try it at $55 if it can be powered off the doorbell wiring; where do you see it at $55?? I can't get ethernet there, but it's my side door, and really it would be ideal to get a camera on the side as I don't have a way to get power for any camera there.

I called Lorex, gave them the model number and then they told me to download this and upgrade it via the GUI. However it didn't work. In their email where link was provided, it said for "LNB8973B" which is definitely not the LNB8211/8105. I don't know if the features matter or it's supposed to...
