I also tried this firmware and can confirm the LED on intrusion works fine.

Got 3 of these now, Love them.

Had this issue only last week. Asked some questions and found the answer was to hard reset both the cameras involved. Plug back into the NVR and let the NVR sort out the new IP addresses. All worked perfect since.

I have also just installed Chrome and it works a charm

Bizarre my DS-7608NI-K2/8P with V4.30.005 won't work with Microsoft Edge.:rolleyes: Still using Internet Explorer and working fine though so no issues.

Looks like I'm up to date with the camera firmware.

Hi Alastair, I presume my equipment will not function with Edge yet as the firmware is not as stated.

Dare I ask has anyone disabled / disconnected their fan in the DS-7608NI-K2 and what was the result. I fitted a silent fan months ago but sometimes it gets quite annoying.

Happy to report that with line detection my light came on when I walked in front of the camera, and went off when I stopped too. WOW what a difference.

I noticed that too, Firmware might be newer than V5.6.5 that we are running.

Apologies in advance for the stupid "Newbie" question but everything is working perfect in the NVR including playback. Yesterday I decided to update the firmware and succeeded but didn't like the latest version so re-installed the previous version which I like. NVR is a DS-7608NI-K2/8P So...

Bizarre I tried the latest VSPlayer on two different laptops and and they both refused to play them. Installed the K-Lite codec and they both saw and played the videos. Whatever works for you I suppose. I'm just happy I can now play them. ;)

Have you got a direct link to that firmware please Alastair. I take it that would be compatible with my NVR too.
