Vehicle Detection NVR5208 with SD6CE245GB-HNR PTZ

I have a SD5A425 Cams doing plate captures here in Aus. These are recorded into 608 series NVRs. In the camera it is set up with by creating the location preset first, then under the Event / Smart Plan / Create a smart plan with Video Metadata for your preset, then go to Event / Metadata and...

Choppy Footage (In Motion) – 6 Empire Tech IPC-T5442T-ZE Mounted on RV

Are the cameras recording 24/7 or only on motion and events? What bandwidth are you trying to record at? Maybe try a lower bandwidth and CBR on the cameras to see if it's the hard drive not keeping up with the data input. You mention an NVR in your post, what are the specs of that? I have had...

Review: Dahua SD5A425XA-HNR 4MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ

I was referring to the recessed PTZ functionally to suit install requirements rather than the fact it is a dome. I have about 20 domes that are useless at night due to IR on dirty domes, not that I installed them, but I now have to deal with their inadequacy.

IPC-HDW5231R-ZE Rhea V2.800.0000016.0.R.200430 Latest new firmware

Not that I have noticed as yet, they don't seem to hold H265 profile on the substream though. They keep on changing to H264H. These are connected to an NVR with V4 firmware.

IPC-HDW5231R-ZE Rhea V2.800.0000016.0.R.200430 Latest new firmware

Do you have any other cams on the network? Maybe in onvif profile. I had an NVR on 3.26 firmware. When it was updated to V4 firmware the Axis onvif cameras caused all kinds of problems across all the connected cameras. Maybe connect 1 camera at a time and leave it for a day before connecting the...

Review: Dahua SD5A425XA-HNR 4MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ

So where would I find the 6/08 firmware? I don’t see those tabs on my current firmware. I’ve been thrown in to looking after the cameras at my work. We have 2 of these and getting another 8, so the global feature would seem to make programming a bit easier to manage. Thanks.

Hi, could I confirm that this is ok for these cams. IPC-HDBW5431E-Z IPC-HDBW5431E-ZE IPC-HDBW5831E-ZE Do you need the NVR to be on V2 security baseline, V4.0 firmware as well to minimise conflict. I have these NVR's VIP Vision NVR32ULTNPV2 ( Possibly Rebadged DHI-NVR6A08-32-4KS2 ) Thanks,

    B5422E-Z4E / HFW5422E-Z4E specification

On the data sheet for the 5442e-ze it has lux ratings for color @ 1/3s & 1/30s shutter speeds and B/W. I would suspect they have changed which on is the wiz series rebrand. 0.002 is probably color @1/30s

    Unwanted IVS Alerts

You have ‘appears’ ticked in the settings. I’m pretty sure that means if it happens inside the zone it will trigger. The line doesn’t need to be crossed for it to trigger.

I would guess it was the headlights of the passing car. I have the same issues with that, and long shadows caused by small animals triggering the IVS.

Multi cam setup, one cam taking too much storage space

Without having a similar cam to browse through. I would suggest if you have another of the same model cam, login to it and have a look at the settings to compare with this one. Not sure if they have the ability to export/save config files, but that may be another way to resolve the issue by...

Multi cam setup, one cam taking too much storage space

The problem camera is set to MJPEG recording format. It should be H.264 or H.265 if it is available in the settings of the camera. Without knowing what your hardware is, if your cameras are the same brand as your recorder some settings can be changed at the recorder. If they are different brands...
