Thanks for all of the responses. It is a temporary mount on a balcony while I test the camera. I am thinking it is the IR bouncing off of the nearby wall to the left. I moved the camera to a different location and will report back once it gets dark.

I have been playing around with this camera and have been pretty happy with the performance. I do have a question on my night image. I have this halo around all of my videos. I'm pretty new at this stuff but is there a way to get rid of it? I assume it has something to do with the IR light but...

Yeah, I just installed this camera like a month ago.

Happened a couple of days ago. Can't really see his face though. Police took the video but it seems like I need a camera to monitor the street as they asked if I had a car description which I didn't. I do have a option to place a camera in the a window which is to the left.
