Any recommendations for a floodlight camera over a brick garage looking down on driveway parking space 60'x30'. Similar to the Ring format below, Ethernet/IP-based, audio and obviously water-proof. I have and like the EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-TE but that's turret-based.
I have read and researched enough to accept the general premise from this forum that floodlight cameras are not a good solution at this time. But, I have to replace some floodlights and I am going to do it anyway to satisfy my curiosity.
Because I plan to have normal turret cameras along that...
I always thought that a motion-activated flood light would seriously blow out the IPcam image for a while (possibly critical moments) as the auto-iris corrects. So, is there a way to make this work? I see that Dahua has this Floodlight cam, and as I mentioned I always thought these two items...
