I have used the tried and true 12VDC 4 LED IR lights around different areas for additional IR illumination. They worked well to supplement the cameras IR lights. I have a few areas I needed supplemental illumination for existing cameras, and too far from outlets or POE cabling. I found these 120VAC, 850nm E27 lights that would work well in existing porch lights, recessed lights and flood light locations. You can add a screw in photo sensor adapter where they will automatically turn on/off at dusk/dawn, or always on, since they draw minimum power. So far they have worked well.
I have only found these from an EBay seller in NY. He has both 940nm and 850nm, so make sure you get the 850nm, if you get them.
Porch light application with plastic globe. This globe attenuates and diffuses the light.
IR Porch lamp off. The only lighting is from the camera.
IR Porch light On, just above the AC compressor unit.
