I have just got a 2CD2342WD setup and working fine. However whenever i view the camera using iVMS and the desktop app, the picture seems to reset or flash when changing to the substream. This causes issues each time i try and view the camera remotely - the picture "resets".
THis can also be observed from the web interface by changing from full to sub stream viewing. It is especially worse at night as the picture will go dark for around 10 seconds before gradually fading back in.
Camera purchased from UK with firmware V5.5.3, Build 150630. One thing i like about this camera is that it has 4 line crossing and intrusion zones. I've heard rumours of later builds reducing this down to only 1.
The latest version on the Europe Hikvision site is 5.3.0 build 150814
