Boy Is that true, A friend of mine and his buddy were both killed driving one of these, playing with its limits on curvy roads, He had just picked it up that day. OUCH!The name comes from the observation that the occupants are hurled through the air to land face-first on the street when they are ejected from the vehicle.
Yes, it did have a "motorcycle" license plate on the back. Some confusion as to whether or not a helmet is required but certainly it depends on the state. Some states say "yes", some say "no." I've heard in CA where you're at that the registration says "motorcycle" which technically means a helmet is required.
I've also heard SOME cops not sticking to that because it has seat belts and a roll bar.
Because it has 3 wheels so it doesn't have to do any crash testing. These are shitty loophole vehicles. They handle like crap, they aren't fast and if you crash, you will be injured.Yes, it did have a "motorcycle" license plate on the back.
