30 FPS at 3MP.. ever happen

Wonder if we will see a firmware to allow 30FPS at 3mp.

Or is that simply beyond the reach of these cams?

it does not have the supporting hardware; no software updates can help that...

Really, though, although, say, 15 FPS isn't quite as smooth as 24-30, it's counts as video, and you'd be hard pressed to think of a situation in which a security incident needed those extra frames. 30 would just double your storage needs without providing any benefit.
