Hello everybody this is my first post so please be gentle
I have been running blue Iris for over 10 years unfortunately I also have a pile of dead Foscam cameras in my garden shed but nevertheless, I still have 5 of the latest Foscam PTZ's some of which have been working for over two years which is much better than before.
However I have recently replaced two of my main cameras with Hikvision 4MP static cameras and they are very sharp pictures I connect them to blue Iris with ONVIF and everything seems to go well.
It's looking like the Foscam boneyard is going to grow as a couple more PTZ's are going on the fritz. Anyway, I have been looking at getting two What seemed to be automatic tracking cameras I was wondering if anybody had any experience with connecting needs to blue Iris? And more importantly, does the fancy dual-camera person scanning stuff work with blue Iris?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
My server is an I9 processor running 64 Gb of DDR4 RAM with an Nvidia 3080. I think I have about 13 cameras running on it right now. Very few are Wi-Fi the majority are POE
Kindest regards,
shy
