I just got my 4k cameras from Andy. They work great. They're on H265. The problem is when I use Amcrest's Surveillance Pro, I can play back the footage. But when I download either .avi or .mp4, the playback in Windows Media Player, VLC, etc. doesn't work. I installed all the codecs. So what gives?
Amcrest Dahua Smart Play can also open the .dav file if I choose to download it in that format, but it the exporting doesn't work either.
So how can I play it back?
