Just saw this last night. I've purchased several cameras from these guys over the years and had good support. Seems like a great price for a managed POE Gigabit switch.

This looks interesting never herd of Planet networking brand; GSD802PS . I wonder how this compares to the Trendnet 8 port POE TPE-1020WS...

They look to be in the same price range / specs are kind of similar.

That Trendnet gives you POE+ so it can run some higher power equipment like PTZ cameras, but it is more than twice the price of the Planet switch.

I see your point 15 watts vs 30 per port. When I did a search for the Planet it looks like it usually lands in the low $200.00 price range. Looks like a nice find Cheezy.

I've taken a look at some of the Planet Networks stuff. Their hardware looks very, very similar to Etherwan equipment (especially the rugged switches). The specs are also identical so I'm assuming they are the same thing. One worry is whether their customer support is any good.
