8mm Lens

I have a spare hikvision 8mm ( DS-2CD2185FWD-I ) dome camera, 8mp and wanted to know if anyone is using an 8mm cam and if so what is it viewing? A front entrance, mailbox, driveway etc..
Like I mentioned it’s a spare cam that I acquired as a trade. Not sure if I need to add it or just have it as a spare. Any suggestions, thank you.

Might do well at a letter box looking up the street in a sort of style to a licence plate cam.
Likely won't be tuned to a licence plate cam for night captures, but it would capture licence plates during the day and color of vehicle.
