Gotten ok using BI, my systems has no problems running 9 cameras. I record all the time via service direct to disk, alerts on for all cameras and push notifications on two cameras. BI process priority set normal.

My nine camera total cost $425.00, image quality is more than adequate. I think BI code is written pretty tight.
