Im thinking about replacing my swan 8580 and 885msb camera cctv system with the hikvision DS-7708NI-I4/8P and DS-2CD2H85G1-IZS cameras, however I have a couple of questions about the cameras. Please could somebody help me out with the following?

- I notice there is an audio cable on the camera, I will be powering it via POE, do I also need to connect this audio cable to my NVR to receive audio or will it be ran through the ethernet cable? My current CCTV takes the audio via the ethernet. I dont really want to be running 2 cables to every camera.
- How does the alarm output inside the camera work? Do I connect this to the alarm input on the NVR? Will the NVR then trigger my house alarm if i connect my alarm to the alarm output?
