A Year of Updates?

My BI server had a hardware failure just before I had to undergo major back surgery about a year ago. I didn't have time to fix it before the surgery, but now I'm feeling much better, I've replaced the bad PSU, and I'm ready to apply a year's worth of updates.

Are there any significant changes I should be aware of? Any warnings?

Are you still under a support plan? You can only update to any version that was within your support period or else it will put you into "evaluation" mode with the blue text watermark.

I probably would recommend sticking with the version you had. Make sure everything is connected and running correctly before even contemplating an update.

There have been numerous changes and feature updates so without knowing your original version and the last update you are entitled to, there isn't much I can say.

So what version did you have? And what is the version you are thinking about updating to?

It was just about a year ago, so I'm already on version 5. Specifically 5.8.5.8. I'm just updating, but a lot. I thought there might be a new feature or something else I should know about.
