Add or replace ip cam speaker

Hi guys,

A friend of mine have Lorex H13 - 4K IP Wired Dome Security Camera comes with two way audio but he said the voice isn’t loud enough when he try to speak through the app, is there a way to add a external speaker so he can talk louder or is there a way to replace the built in speaker in the camera?

You would likely be better off using an external speaker, as there's likely no room for anything larger or an internal amplifier. The speaker would need to be waterproof also, the cone not your standard paper and the voice coil rustproof.

An external speaker would also need to be waterproof as above and the most common and available require 12VDC power. Depending on the new external speaker's design, you'd probably need to manually adjust the output of the camera's speaker feed to the input of the amplified speaker if there's an impedance / gain mismatch.
