Hi all
I have access with an app called "DMSS" on my phone with user & password only for channels 4+5 on Dahua NVR.

How can I connect those in Blueiris 4?
I have the NVR ip but not it's username or password, only the Channel 4+5 passwords.
I've read that I should write something in the video path?

In BI, you select add camera and put the IP address of the NVR into the IP address location. Put in username and password and hit find/inspect and let BI do its thing.

Then about halfway down is a pull down for Camera number and pick camera 1 and then hit ok. The camera should show up. Then add camera and the select copy and copy this camera and then change the number 1 to a 2 and repeat for your cameras. OR depending on your NVR, it may populate all the cameras in the main and substream pulldown boxes and you just select a camera number and then add another camera and select the next pulldown.

That IP address is the NVR? and the user and password is for the NVR?

Did you hit find/inspect?

Post a screenshot of the pop up window that pops up when you hit find/inspect - that may give a clue as to what is going on.

You may have to add : and the port number of the NVR after the IP address.

Yes IP address and the port of the NVR are ok.
I Don't have the user or password for the nvr.
I have access with user and password on phone app "DMSS" to view only channels 4+5 inside the NVR.

Then I think you are screwed - you need the password of the NVR.

But lets see what the windows pop up has when you hit find/inspect.

Yep so since it doesn't have the user/pw of the NVR it isn't going past it. The No Response means it reached out to the NVR and knocked on the door and didn't open.

I try the user/password I got as the main NVR.
Do I need to write something in the video path?

The video path is usually populated after it makes connection with the NVR.

The No response means BI is not talking to the NVR.

The NVR is Dahua. I don't know the type of the cameras.
But when I insert the code you wrote on the "Path" - it gives me now a 8000007a (Check Port/User/Password) instead of "RTPS: 403 Forbidden"

When I insert this code:
/cam/realmonitor?channel=5&subtype=0

I can enter the camera I need! but I see no signal.
Without any troble codes.
When I change to a different channel like 6 or 7, I get an error so the code I wrote is ok!
What am I missing?

yeah sometimes they are off a channel or two.

Does the find/inspect give any other clues.
