Hi,
I currently have 5442 ZE (turret, the older model), it's positioned on a pole, covering half of the street (facing south) and home entrance from the street.
I want other camera to cover the other half (facing north), this way I have visibility on both sides of the street.

I have a few cameras that I own (and are not mounted) that I can use to cover the other half of the street:
1. 2431T (the older model no AI)
2. 4KT
3. 4KT 180
4. 5442 ZE (mounted on the pole)

What would you do to cover both side of the street (given the 5 IPCs)?

Goal of the camera, mainly overview of the people passing the street or approaching the entrance from the street (identification is also wanted, but is a stretch goal).
Lightning conditions, street lights but not enough light.
I have one cable run, but I have the a cheap POE spliter (I know it works).

Thats very close to the street so I would rule out the 4K-T as A) they are soft (blurred) focus out to 8+ft and B) my bullet version is giving me fits to get a good image of moving objects in a very similar scene and distances. If it were set back another 10-15ft it would be better. I'd give it a No

The 4K 180 I don't own so need opinion from someone who does, but those are actually quite different than the 4K-T in that they have a much smaller sensor (same as the 5442) and you have the splicing issue. So again close up, tight space (30ft across street), I'm gun shy of it there. Most are using it for wide area overview. It could work? I'd give it a Maybe

We know the 5442 would work, especially the newer S3 model which picks up light very well. You might even swap it for the older 5442 and trade places and get lucky enough to run color. Regardless you should get reasonably good ID in IR mode. I'd give it a Good
