adding more cameras than the nvr supports

Hello,
I have a stupid question, I would like to add more ip cameras to a nvr than it supports, for example I installed 8 cameras to a nvr that supports 8 cameras, I would like to add 2 more cameras, so I have a total of 10. Is there a trick in the settings, any hardware device to buy that can increase my number of entries?
The nvr is a hikvision 8 ports - DS-7108N-SN/P

Usually not and even if you could, the CPU and bandwidth are not large enough and wouldn't support the cameras without down resolution and bitrates to keep up.
