Hi! Have latest version of BI and Subscription, using Win10 Pro on OptiPlex7040 i5-6500 3.2GHz w/ 8GB RAM an constantly running 95-99% CPU and 20% RAM 3.08GB. Windows is updated and not using the computer for anything else. Have about 8 POE IP cameras throughout the house. Any thoughts?

Support data:
Version: Release 5.9.5.4 x64 (8/16/2024)
OS: Windows 10 Pro
CPU,GPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz [100%,12%]
RAM: 3.14GB/7.88GB
Clips: 3599 items, 2019/2025GB
Storage: C: +374.4GB

Yes, that is where you need to go the substream pulldown and select the substream.

Hopefully they are already turned on in the camera.

It's been years since i've logged onto the actual camera, i think i figured it out and the CPU usaged dropped to about 50%. THANK YOU!

That is still pretty high for that system. Something else must be going on.

Is anti-virus excluding BI?

Free Avast, outside of that nothing else...

Just checked after a reboot
CPU 53% GPU %22 RAM 1.25GB
That is still high. Check the CPU optimization guide:

As an example, using a Windows 10 Home I7-11700 @ 2.50 GHz 8 Cores and the CPU Performance is at 17% as displayed in the Task Manager on the BI Windows computer. Note: UI3 is not active on the other LAN connected computers. The GPU is at 14% with the Eithernet camera bandwidth at 290 Mbps.
