AI for detecting humans in video (offline/online)?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it exists either a software to use offline/online, where one could upload a video and it would delete the frames where there are no humans (i.e. any other movement) and spit out just the joined clips of where there are humans?
The cams I have don't have human detection, so BI records ANY movement; I am unable to install something offline to do this detection, just don't have the HW or time to test/configure, etc.
Is there something offline where you could just point it to a bunch of clips, and tell it spit out only the frames with human movement?

It sounds like you have BI and that is kind of what CodeProject does. It is simply sent pictures and tags the ones that meet the criteria.

Yes, I think BI offers to install this when installing/restarting(?), but I don't need to have this done on all videos recorded there are just some that I'd like to run through such a "filter" after the fact.
This is why I'm looking for this as a post video recording processing tool rather than an inline one. I'm wondering if that exists, or can CodeProject AI be standalone and do what I'm looking for?

CodeProject is a stand-alone as are many other programs.

Keep in mind you don't have to run code project on every camera in BI.

I guess you would have to decide if the effort to go thru pulling a video and sending it thru after the fact is more trouble than it is worth just setting it up in BI and letting it do its thing.

I've installed it on another computer and running it on the 2 cameras that have the most "false alerts" that cause additional recording for no reason (i.e. like when it's snowing) and have set the AI setting only for "person".
I will know in a few days if this reduces the 1) file size and 2) remove the need for me to run a video through some sort of human detection "scrubbing"**

**So CP does not offer this sort of feature I am looking for, that I know of. I have a lot of saved files that are large, where there is non human motion recorded which makes them very large. Does CP allow one to import a file and have it "processed"? I haven't been able a way to do this - I saw a post that had someone run a CP Explorer for testing, but I don't see this feature in the CP GUI...

So far it seems to be recording just when there are persons detected, although I don't really know where this setting is (i.e. if I just want it to trigger for cars and no humans, is that possible?)
I have noticed that despite my record settings (I have BI set to combine clips every 6 hours) I get very small clips, many - is this normal?


I don't understand what these icons mean, why they are there on one clip but not the other clips?



Am I misunderstanding what CPAI is for? Is it not for getting better accuracy at detecting in order to trigger recording video?
