Alarm Volume low on Dahua camera

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed that the alarm volume on my Dahua camera is quite low and doesn’t seem effective in drawing attention, especially in noisy environments or at a distance.
Is there a way to increase the alarm volume, or is it fixed at a certain level? If anyone has experienced this and found a workaround or adjustment, I’d appreciate your insights.

If you have the volume turned up to 100, then the only other way is to add an external powered speaker.

These speakers are not that powerful. Works well in the middle of the night for a perp without waking up the whole neighborhood, but not good at distance or in noisy environments.

I will need then a powered alarm as you suggested... It's very low OMG
Do you have any recommendations for this?
I have no clue about it.

Dahua has one but it is expensive.

But any powered amplified speaker will work - need to plug into a wall for power and then connect the audio lines from the camera to it.
