alert sound error 2147220906

Just got this message last week when my sound alert on my cam stopped working. It worked fine for 3 weeks, then nothing. When I go to test it in camera properties, I get the alert. Red X on my volume control. Very little to no info on this on Internet. Anyone have a smimliar experience?

Same.... I haven't bothered to figure out which device it's coming from yet, but I was going through my logs and came across it. Will take a closer look when I have time.

If you RDP into the BI server the audio focus gets smurfed. This happens to me and the only way I have found to reset it was to sit at the BI server and log in. That's it. Just log in and the focus goes back to the speakers on the server.
