I just recently got a new phone and just noticed I was not getting any sound notifications for the 3 cams I have certain sounds for. Like the front door area has a doorbell, etc.
Well, I remembered I had to go in and add the info for my new phone on the mobile devices in settings. I got that done no problem. I then went to the 3 cameras I have those special sounds, and the doorbell, and others work fine.
I now get a notification sound on my phone, but it is the phone default sound and not the sound I want from BI. I'm brain dead here and can't remember what I need to do to get my doorbell back on my phone. Where do I go in my phone to fix that?
Thanks.

Go to settings - app - BI - at the bottom of the app notifications on your phone, the last one should be "Notification categories".

Select that then you should be able to change the notification sounds off default sound.

If that doesn't work, maybe try deleting the cache and then if that doesn't work maybe try an uninstall and re-install of the app.

Also to set different notification sounds individually for each cam, in the BI camera settings > Alert tab > On alert > Edit or Add > Sound pull-down > choose whatever sound.

Go to setting in my phone, then apps, then BI app. Right? At the bottom of the pager there is no notification categories. Hmmm.
I have gone into BI settings, alert tab, on alert, edit, have the sound I want and it works when tested. It just won't play on my phone that way. I need to get to the app to make it play the sound chosen, but can't figure it out.

How about in the app > gear for settings > 6 lines down - In-app alert sounds switch button.

I am at a complete loss. I'll do some googling and see, but I've come up short on a lot of searches on what to do. I've done it before, but this new phone is a little different I guess. Hmmm. Weird.

You'd think that it would be right around there somewhere. :idk:

I can't think of anything else but I don't know the Android side well.
