I know this worked fine in the past, but I cant (for the life of me) get sound alerts to play outloud on my BlueIris PC any more. In settings, I can assign the sound wave file, playing it from explorer is no problem either. its nice and loud and echos throught he house. but when BI is in charge of playing it (even on a manual alert trigger)... silence. I THINK its trying to play it because whenever I trigger it, i see a small media-icon in the bottom right coner of the interface, but nothing actually plays through the speaker.
Im not sure how to troubleshoot this.
(below is a list of everything I checked (I will keep it updated)
PS: I tried to search BlueIris' forums and see lots of posts (via google) but the actual forums are now gone. I also tried to register for the new BBS address but it contually rejects my password even after several resets. Believe me, I hate posting without searching but it seems those past threads are now out of reach.

- Yes the volume is up nice and loud (manually playing the wave file works great)
- The mixer is sending audio to the proper output (tested on youtube etc)
- Volume mixer (per app volume: blueIris) is maxed; not muted
- Tried all (drop down) device options in BI Console > audio Tab
- Tried all (drop down) device options in camera settings > alerts > on-alert > (edit entry for playing sound).
