I have got into BlueIris over the last few months and it's been great. I have various alerts configured across a number of cameras, complete with areas that trigger when motion is detected.
We have a road on the upper portion of one of the camera views. I don't trigger alerts for that area, for obvious reasons. However, traffic that passes through does just that...keeps moving. And here's the story...
I woke up at some weird hour a couple of weeks ago and, coincidentally, saw a car pass by and stop for 20 seconds or so outside our house. That is very unusual and it got me thinking. In short, I'd really like to be alerted when something stops in that area.
I understand that this is more complex than merely detecting motion. But I could potentially envisage some logic along the lines of "If something moves in <area A> and nothing moves in <area B> within x seconds" then trigger an alert. At a more general level "If Alert A is triggered, send the alert only of Alert B hasn't been triggered within x seconds".
I accept and understand that the devil is in the details but wondered if anyone has thought about this scenario and has any suggestions.
Thank you.
Mark
