Alerts have just stopped

I noticed my alerts have stopped all of a sudden in BI5
I hadnt changed any settings
I have plenty of disk space :

I deleted all my older alerts to see if one was corrupting something but still not generating any alerts:

I am using AI for the alerts confirmation. I tried stopping and starting the service. Walked past as camera and no alert

Did you recently update Blue Iris?
What exact version of Bi are you currently running.
I thought my maintenance ran out before the issue happened so dont think I did but my version is 5.8.4.3

I do now remember that I had an older version the inbuilt AI app and I updated that. Now I am getting these problems

I keep getting these errors in the logs "AI not responding"
