Alerts, Substream, and Mainstream - Alerts only playing back with substream?

Hi all,

I just started with Blue Iris and I got it up running in a Proxmox VM w/ Nvidia T400 GPU with DeepStack. DeepStack seems to be working well and identifying objects correctly.

However, when an Alert is triggered, I only get the sub-stream video and not the main-stream.

To get the main-stream, do I need to use "Direct to Disk Recording" or should the default settings also incorporate the mainstream too?

Anyhow, I turned on Direct to Disk and I do get the mainstream but I'm wondering why I don't get it with the default settings.

After reading through the manual more closely, it seems Direcct to Disk Recording did indeed fix the issue - when I playback alerts I get both the Main Stream and Sub Stream.
