Alibi NVR not able to retain settings?

So I am wondering if anyone has any issues with their Alibi NVRs having any issues with retaining settings?

So to better understand what I am dealing with. Alibi Vigilant 16Ch POE NVR that after I setup NTP server and DST so my NVR and Cameras can retain the correct time. Within a few days and normally when I am looking at playback of an event to find that info on another camera I find out there is no data at that time then I notice that the time of the Alibi is off again.. So I then go into the NVRs settings and setup to my NTP server and enable DST. I can save and it will be there for some time I am not sure how long or when it changes, I thought maybe it was a Reboot thing so I reboot after setting and the data is retained?


I am starting to have a really large dislike for the Alibi name.. I don't have any Amcrest, Dahua, or Hikvision OEMs issues like I do with my Ailibi system.. Thought maybe the last update would cure the issue but NO..

Anyone using or know anyone with Alibi systems with issues like this?

Also as an update, Not sure why it would reject and change for any other reason however here is my NTP log as it ran. I do normally have it setup to update every 12 hours but changed it to every 5 min so I could get some data from the NTP server and the NVR is at 10.0.0.96 so this data is from that NVR..

So it does talk with my NTP server so isn't that issue. However I did look at the LOG dump from the NVR and in the dump it does mention there is an issue with NTP server WTH..

Afer update, now there seems to be some strange anomaly when I go to look at the events.. At first I thought maybe an issue with just the Motion events however when I playback any event line crossing, Intrusion and motion of any type there is some strange Tick of what looks like someone trying to pinch zoom from a mobile app kind of thing lol..

So I reset the NVR and after the last update they broke what took them 3 years to fix the first time lol hahahaha So I reset the NVR back to factory because of the strange tick.. After doing so now the Ailibi camera will not import the Presets to the NVR again like it was when the NVR and PTZ was NEW lol OMG WTF and wasn't updated until I made a comment about the PTZ and NVR not talking with each other very well lol.. It was strange after saying that there was an update where that was fixed. Kind of lol. I mean it was working but it was very picky. Delete a preset in camera didn't' delete in NVR update preset in camera it wouldn't update in NVR.. Make a Preset in the NVR or sorry update a preset in NVR would make a new preset in the camera and not update the preset you make the change too lol.. How hard is it?
